The other day, a woman at the head of the line needed to fill out forms for her packages. She had waited in line like everyone else and didn’t know until she talked to the Post Office employee that she had to fill out a few forms for her overseas delivery. She could have filled them out while occupying that space at the counter, but she didn’t. She realized others were waiting, so she stepped aside and filled them out away from the window, letting people behind her come up and be served while she filled out the forms. It was a very simple gesture, and cost her nothing but a few steps. But it revealed a lot about her heart – she was conscious of how her behavior could affect others and she took action to be kind. Well done!
